Speaking Engagements, Workshops & Professional Development
I bring extensive experience offering talks, workshops, and facilitated conversations for schools, nonprofits, community organizations, libraries, and public agencies that work with young people and families.

My work focuses on how media systems—not just content—shape young people’s learning, wellbeing, identity, and civic life. Drawing on research, youth-centered practice, and years of experience working alongside educators, caregivers, and young people, I help audiences move beyond fear, panic, or surface-level solutions toward clearer, more ethical, and more developmentally grounded understanding.

All sessions are tailored to the audience and context, and can be offered as standalone talks, interactive workshops, or part of a longer learning series.
Book me to design a keynote or workshop that engages your audience and addresses your organization’s goals around media literacy, digital well-being, equity, and youth empowerment.
Behind the Screen
A Speaker Series on Youth, Media, and Digital Life
Behind the Screen is a cohesive speaker and workshop series designed to help parents, educators, and youth-serving organizations understand how today’s digital platforms shape attention, identity, learning, and well-being.

Rather than focusing on individual apps or moral panics, the series examines the systems behind everyday digital experiences. It explores how platforms are designed, how young people navigate them, and where individuals and institutions can intervene with care, clarity, and agency.

Each session can stand alone or be offered as part of a multi-session series. Content is adapted for adult audiences, youth audiences, or mixed community groups.
