Equity in Education

Partnered with the UNT Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office to speak on integrating advocacy and equity into classrooms, alongside keynote speaker Melissa Harris-Perry. Students collaborated to create a video highlighting the conference and amplifying its key messages.

In partnership with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Office at the University of North Texas, I spoke at their annual conference on how educators can integrate advocacy and equity into classroom practice. As part of the collaboration, I also guided my students in producing a video documenting the event, which amplified the conference’s key messages and broadened its reach.

This project demonstrates how consulting work can combine professional development, speaking engagements, and media production to advance institutional equity initiatives. By blending training with storytelling, organizations can inspire educators, highlight best practices, and showcase their commitment to equity and inclusion.
